children's services (day treatment): services include outpatient counseling, wrap-around services and other appropriate interventions. The wrap-aroundprogram is offered to children age 21 years and younger. Children referredto this program receive an initial screening by a mental health casemanager, and typically require the intensive involvement of a behavior specialist, a mobile therapist and the therapeutic support staff.
long-term structured residence (ltsr): provides 24-hour therapeutic environment which employs active psychiatric treatment and psychosocial rehabilitation skills training in a structured residential milieu. It provides a less restrictive and less costly alternative to inpatient hospitalization.
