Mission: The founders of Creative Change Productions have a history of commitment to the public interest and social change. We view the task of providing information, education and inspiration as one that contributes to the health of a democratic society. Creative Change Productions is devoted to producing educational and inspirational programs and materials within a variety of media, including broadcast, the World Wide Web, cd-rom and print. Our origins are in public radio but our approach includes the newly evolving trend toward multi-purposing of news, information and cultural content to reach as many people as possible. Creative Change Productions is further committed to the principle of adaptability in our use of new technologies and new venues, with an eye toward participating in the global communications network that lies in our future. We will pave our road to this future by exercising good business sense, and maintaining principled business relations.
Programs: Some of Creative Change's recent programs include creating content in health science education aimed toward bringing the latest in disease treatment to patients and the public seeking hard-to-find information; producing documentaries about the little known history of race and ethnic relations in the U.S. in the pre-modern Civil Rights movement period; providing materials and assistance in conducting Race & Reconciliation dialogues for community and church groups as well as classrooms; offering content development for social advocacy campaigns in areas such as domestic violence prevention; providing strategic development plans and content for organizations pursuing broader markets.
