Mission: COVERSA exists to improve the collection of forensic evidence, provide acute interventional services, collaborate with legal and judicial representatives, and provide education to the community regarding sexual assault.
Programs: COVERSA provides 24 hour / 365 day coverage by SANE to provide services of forensic examinations. COVERSA maintains two examination rooms complete with digital colposcopy units to greater magnify sexual assault victim injuries. These facilities are outside the busy Emergency Department and are comfortably furnished to allow friend or family member along with our Sexual Assault Victim Advocte to be with our "clients" during the arduous forensic sexual assault examination process.
