Programs: Residential living: the number of persons who benefited from the services we provided for the year ended january 31, 2015 were as follows:there were a total of 286 residents, occupying 241 apartments at 01/31/2015. Residency for the fiscal year totaled 96,503 resident days.
assisted living: the number of persons who benefited from the services we provided for the year ended january 31, 2015 were as follows:there were a total of 37 assisted living residents at 01/31/2015. Assisted living residency for the fiscal year totaled 13,012 patient days.
skilled nursing: the number of persons who benefited from the services we provided for the year ended january 31, 2015 were as follows:there were a total of 52 skilled care patients at 01/31/2015. Skilled care residency for the fiscal year totaled 18,803 patient days.
the organization was involved in various community benefits projectswhich include the following:- staff members volunteered a total of 5 hours to hope south florida (equivalent to $375)- residents volunteered a total of 1,060 hours to various organizationsor events in the community including charity bears, bandage rolling ministry with the covenant women's ministries, at local churches, prison ministry, plantation historical society and others. The residents also raised in-kind donations for operation christmas child shoebox collection (estimated value of $3,000). - provided space usage for meetings/events for small (under 35) tolarge groups (75+ people) including aarp safe driving class,alzheimer's support group and volunteer committee, girl scouttroop, bcoa, florida healthcare social workers, broward county guardian, various arts and music events such as suzuki strings, south fl jubilee singers, sunshine chordsmen and recitals, aarp safe driving class, heart2heart, h2u fitness clas, general and primary elections and others (equivalent to $369,378)-monetary donations to hope south florida ($1,580) in total -in-kind donations to plantation library, escarment foundation and immanuel baptist church (estimated value of $4,130)-hosted small to large-scale community events such as new year's eve celebration, lifelong learning sessions, uso veterans dance, holiday bazaar, fall fashion show, star spangled banner celebration, taste of plantation, taste of town, and others (equivalent to $645,000)
