As a recent retiree, I wanted to get involved with a worthwhile charity. Due to my love of young children and knowing there are so many children with support needs, I found CASA of Middlesex County a worthwhile charity to donate my time to. From the beginning, they shared the goal of the program, realistic time expenditure, and training resources, including live training. Additionally, they provide you with a peer coordinator who works closely with you during your first case - which provided me with a level of comfort as I began my role.

I have found the program to be fulfilling and enjoy spending time with the child I'm assigned to and working on his behalf.
