Causes: Mental Health, Substance Abuse Prevention
Mission: To empower youth to make healthy lifestyle choices and live drug-free *** To promote drug-free lifestyles among youth by creating and maintaining collaborative community initiatives
Results: We have served youth in our community for over 30 years! Last year we were able to serve over 23,000 youth providing leadership skills, coping skills, prevention education and support. Our programs are combined with the collaboration of youth, schools, law enforcement, churches, Boys & Girls Clubs, mentoring programs, Character Plus, SADD, Health Department, Missouri National Guard, treatment facilities, recovery network, businesses and many other community partners.
Target demographics: youth make healthy life style choices and live drug free!
Direct beneficiaries per year: over 23,000 students in 6 school districts
Geographic areas served: mid-Missouri
Programs: Safety Kids, Tobacco Prevention, Show Me Players, UPLIFT, COPE, TEAM, & Baseline to area youth in grades K-12
