Mission: Cottonwood engages the pikes peak region in art through learning, exhibits and performances, hosting a diverse creative community of workspace for artists.
Programs: Develop a strong sense of community and creative environment for artists. To engage the colorado springs community through diverse exhibits and learning opportunities through classes and workshops. Cottonwood provided 76 studios that were lease at 100% capacity by over 82 artists. Provided additional space for education, lectures and other program activity over 2016. Total visitors were approximately 29,000. Expanded program activities over 2016 with over 650 students not inclusive of open studio participants outside of regular programs. Became the number 1 attended first friday venue with approximately 3,200 visitors. Hosted colorado art & farm market during winter and springs on the 3rd sunday of the month.
