Mission: The corvallis youth symphony association is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing young people with opportunities for exceptional musical experiences to enhance their school music programs and to developing an awareness and appreciation of great music in the students and the community.
Programs: Cys (corvallis youth symphony): 76 students enrolled (sept through april) weekly monday night practices and 3 performances jhs (junior honors symphony): 50 students enrolled (january through april) weekly tuesday night practices and 1 performance elementary strings: 165 students enrolled (on average - october through june) classes held at corvallis elementary schools twice per week and 2 performances encore is a tuesday evening program (march through june) for our most advanced es students. We had approximately 20 students enrolled. Summer strings academy (1 week, morning camp, in august) we had approximately 18 students enrolled.
