Mission: Corporate leadership center, nfp (clc) was founded to augment and accelerate the development of tomorrow's corporate leaders. In partnership with kellogg school of management, booth school of business, and the midwest's preeminent business leaders, clc's flagship initiative, ceo perspectives, now in its 14th year, provides immersion, application and feedback on those issues that today's ceo cannot delegate. It combines academic concepts and business applications in a dialogue among top academics, business advisors, ceos and the program's participants - a diverse group of top executives. Clc plays a key role in curriculum development, class facilitation and recruitment for ceo perspectives and leads networking events for fellows of the program. In 2009, clc launched its second educational endeavor, leading women executives - a program run by clc alone. This program is targeted at mid-career, high-potential women and their companies. Programs: Leading women executives is offered to a limited number of ceo-sponsored, high-potential female business leaders. Companies assign a senior executive as advocates to support their leading women executives participants and corporate leadership center works with human resource management of the company to identify strategies to advance women in the organization. Participants engage in intensive leadership sessions over several months, applying research insights and creating a personal action plan. The implications for each participating company are reviewed at the program's completion.
ceo perspectives is a ground-breaking collaboration between corporate leadership center, kellogg school of management, booth school of business, and ceos of major corporations, this innovative program focuses on the ceo's agenda - issues that the ceo cannot delegate. Participants gain experience outside their company and industry boundaries by interacting with the brightest minds and most effective practitioners to ask the right questions and make better decisions through thoughtful framing and insights from others. The program is valuable as key executives make a transition from functional or business line expertise to company-wide effectiveness, providing short, concentrated sessions spread over several months while building an ongoing peer network.
