Nonprofit Overview
Causes: Amateur Sports Competitions, Baseball & Softball, Recreation & Sports, Sports
Mission: To provide healthy activity for children using the ball field as a classroom to instill discipline, team work, sportsmanship and fair play, and to establish a set of values to guide them into adulthood.
Target demographics: the youth in our community ages 4-18yrs
Direct beneficiaries per year: 600+ players develop as members of our community.
Geographic areas served: Corona, CA.
Programs: the Positive Coaching Alliance Double-Goal® Coaching program. Program Coaches have two goals, winning, and more importantly, teaching life lessons through baseball. Coaches teach players how to win, on and off the field. Our core philosophy is that regardless of their skill level, players can take from baseball invaluable lessons in teamwork, discipline, compassion and handling adversity and then apply those lessons in school, jobs and their family lives.
