I reached out to Coopers Chance Rescue when I was desperate for help with my dog. They helped me with food and supplies for my senior dog when I was hospitalized for a short time, so I didn't have to rehome her. I'm very thankful for the care and help; I'm home now, and so is my pet!

I recently adopted a senior dog, and it was a pleasant experience. My little guy was in a foster home, so I met him there with my other dog, and they were helpful and patient. I even got to keep the new fella for a few days at my house; that was a nice feature. The adoption process was smooth, and I am pleased with it all. My senior pet is well-adjusted and happy.

I had a great experience adopting my dog, and the foster went above and beyond to ensure we had the right dog for our family. The adoption process includes a try-out period, which helped since I have two small kids. I appreciate the work they do, and I highly recommend it.

I had a great experience adopting my first pet from Cooper's Chance. They were accommodating and supportive even after the adoption. I will adopt them soon!

I'm an animal rescue veteran who has had the opportunity to visit Cooper's Chance several times over a period of many years. I have toured their facilities, witnessed how they care for their rescue animals, and conducted business with the CEO. Cooper's Chance is deeply devoted to the well-being of the animals in its care. They go well above and beyond the level of care I've seen in any other shelter when it comes to feeding, hygiene, healthcare, attention, rehabilitation, training, and careful placement of animals. Their standards are high for placements, because their mission is the well-being of the animals, and not everyone who wants a pet meets those standards. All of Cooper's Chance's happy adopters are busy playing with their dogs, not posting petty 1-star reviews online over a miscommunication or a rejection. Keep up the good work, Cooper's Chance!

Not impressed! Our family found a dog on Cooper's chance website that we were interested in. I filled out the online application and sent it in. Shannon replied to me a few days later saying the dog was available for adoption and that we could set up a time to have her for a 72 hour trial before we adopted her. We exchanged one more email and then I Asked if we could get her on the upcoming weekend. She said that would work and we set a time. The morning of our meeting she emailed and said she had to take her daughter to get a breathing treatment and asked if could we reschedule. I replied and said I'd like to move it to the next weekend if we couldn't do it later that day. I never heard back from her! I gave her the benefit of the doubt that maybe her daughter was ill, but she didn't even have the courtesy to tell me that if it was the case. After now reading all of the bad reviews on several sites I realize I am just getting the same poor service as everyone else. Too bad, we really wanted to give one of her dogs a good home!!

I adopted a dog from the President of Cooper's Chance Animal Rescue in Chandler, AZ in mid December 2016. I was told that I would be mailed the paperwork for the dog's shots and other records since she was not prepared to provide them at the time of the adoption. I was also told that the adoption fee included the chip which the dog had been given. It took more than 2 weeks and several contacts to get the vaccination paperwork. Seven weeks later I was told that the dog had no chip registration since she never had the dog chipped. I have tried to call and email Cooper's Chance Animal Rescue and almost never get a response. NOT A BUSINESS I WOULD RECOMMEND!!!!! If this is how she takes care of her clients I have serious doubts about how she cares for the animals. Is she doing this just for the 501c tax write offs?

I sent several messages and filled out an application, without any response. It's like they weren't interested in placing any of their animals. We ended up going to the local shelter instead. Sad!
