I adopted 4 pawsone pets over 10 yrs and each time the staff has been very caring and prpfessional when helping you select a pet. They love the animals there and are very dedicated to their health and welfare. I recommend this shelter to everyone I meet and know.

I have taken several strays and though they are full they were able to take one of the 3 Ive gone there with in. I already have 4 dogs so Im unable to have anymore. They are always so nice and helpful.

The board of directors selected someone else later after I took time out of my day to visit the shelter. I grew up with two dogs and have had seven cats throughout my life. They were always given plenty of food and a loving home. This shelter has many dogs and cats that need to be adopted yet their arrogant, disdainful board of directors drops those who are willing on a whim. Is this what you do with your marketing and social media "skills"? Thumb your noses at the peasants beneath you as you sit around feeling proud of yourselves? Rejecting a potential pet owner willing to fill out an application and hand over $100, compared to lower than half that price at other shelters, is very poor marketing. You don't update on Petfinder either. That's poor social media attention. With the Converse Animal shelter as full as it was, the CASI board of directors should step down as such dismal failures.
