I am the grant administrator at a wildlife NGO. We have worked with Conservation Fusion many times and can attest to their passion and impact! We know the substantial grants our organization has provided to Conservation Fusion are making a difference - we have gotten printed photos of the outcomes and hand-written thanks yous and updates. To address a less positive review that was given here, Conservation Fusion is an extremely small organization which keeps overhead low so if replies were slow I'm sure that is the reason. Also, working in a place like Madagascar has complexities so impactful NGOs like Conservation Fusion must address many critical priorities and needs to accomplish their mission which may explain any "inconsistencies" as stated in the other review. I would welcome any questions about our experience in working with Conservation Fusion and recommend them highly!
I would be very careful with this outfit. They are very vague in their mission and were very slow to respond to our inquiries.
While doing research we found several inconsistencies in their classification and how that squared with their stated understanding of their nonprofit standing.
In the end, our company dewcided to pass and yet CFI continues to ask for donations from us.
