Economic development is also impacted because it enables building and remodeling companies (and related businesses) to continue operating in Connecticut; a career in home building provides high pay, job security and opportunities for advancement. This is one industry that cannot be out-sourced and provides unlimited opportunity to own one's own business and now more than ever for women and minorities.
