Mission: Battered women and their children were provided temporary shelter and/or advocacy and other supportive services.
Programs: Organizations mission or most significant activities the purpose of this organization is to provide a temporary shelter for battered victims while keeping the victims and their children together as a cohesive unit. While at the shelter, the victims receive advocacy and other supportive services to assit then in making long term decisions in a protected environment. Such services include discussions of legal alternatives and assistance in securing economic assitanse, medial services, housing and employment. Advicacy and other supportive services are also offered on an outreach basis to further assist the needs of the victims.
