From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warm smiles and a sense of inclusivity. The organizers did a fantastic job in curating a diverse range of activities, ensuring there was something for everyone to enjoy. The singers and dancers brought the event to life with their captivating performances, showcasing the talent and passion within the community.
As the CEO and Founder of Comunidad Latinx, I am incredibly proud of what it entails. Comunidad Latinx is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to empowering and supporting La Comunidad Latina. Through educational workshops, essential item distribution, and community events, we create opportunities and foster unity and pride. Our commitment to making a positive impact is commendable, and I highly recommend supporting us in our initiatives.
Here are some of the annual community events we organize:
1. VIP Community Baby Shower: This event celebrates and supports expectant mothers in the community.
2. Back to School: We help prepare students for the new school year by providing them with necessary supplies and resources.
3. La Herencia Hispana: A celebration of Hispanic heritage and culture, where we showcase and honor our rich traditions.
4. Toys and Coats Christmas Party: We organize a festive party during the holiday season, providing toys and coats to children in need.
Additionally, we arrange annual field trips for 100 people to various sporting events. These include baseball games at Yankee Stadium and Citi Field, as well as basketball games at St. John's University. These field trips offer unique experiences and opportunities for community members to enjoy these sporting events together.
