Mission: Comunidad Latina de Hawai'i aims to build a welcoming community and create opportunities for Latino families to connect culturally, integrate socially, and contribute civically.
We believe that belonging is the work of the whole community and that integration of immigrant and ethnic minorities requires a process of two-way learning experiences and opportunities. Thus, we approach our work on two fronts. First, we serve our Latino community to assimilate more fully to life in Hawaii: ESL classes, immigration and social service referrals, and civil advocacy. Second, we serve our host community to help understand the presence and contributions of Latino immigrants in Hawaii: translation services, Annual Hispanic Cultural Festival, and immigrant talk-story events.

Donor & Volunteer Advisory
This organization's nonprofit status may have been revoked or it may have merged with another

This nonprofit has made my mother’s dream a reality by helping her dance group grow and become more organized. It also provides children an extracurricular activity that teaches them about the Mexican culture in the way of dance. We hope that this organization grows to be able to include many more Latino folklore.
Real heart for the people, effective and most excellent service to the most vulnerable. Besides, the fight to preserve culture and the ability to build bridges regarding cultural awareness are also simply outstanding. A non profit true to its cause and purpose!!
