Causes: Education, Educational Services
Mission: Computers 2 Kids (C2K) believes all children and their families in San Diego, regardless of their economic status, need to be computer literate and have equal access to technology and the crucial educational, occupational, and financial resources that technology can provide to improve their educational options and their futures.
Results: Since its inception in late 2004, C2SDK has distributed more than 220,000 computers to low-income families Nationwide. In addition to the computers it distributed, C2SDK has collected more than 12.1 million pounds of eWaste for recycling, resale, or use in its programs since 2008.
