CARMA is a unique rescue organiztions built on the resources and skills of veterinarian professionals. Their ability to focus on sick and injured animals allows them to give a second chance to animals who might be overlooked by other rescue organizations who lack CARMA's resources. NAVS assisted CARMA with a grant to help pay for Stanley's surgery. (Stanley has since made a full recovery and found his forever home!)

Mission: Heal and Re-home Compassionate Animal Rescue for Medical Aid was founded by veterinary professionals dedicated to enhancing the lives of people in our community through our love for animals. Our purpose is to rescue sick or injured animals, provide them with necessary medical care and place them into caring homes if needed. Our resources, including veterinarians and medical facilities, separate us from traditional rescue organizations and will allow us to achieve our goal.
Results: Over 200 sick or injured animals each year facing euthanasia are rescued, given necessary medical care and adopted into loving homes.
