CIWF has done and continues to do amazing work to bring the issue of mistreatment of farm animals to the fore, and push governments and businesses to do better. One of the best at what they do.
I'm a monthly donor to Compassion in World Farming. I wish I could give more. I really believe in the philosophy of their longtime CEO, Philip Lymbery, who has built a broad church, which includes business, government and individuals. As Philip says, it will take all of us to overcome the monolith of factory farming. We have to be passionate pragmatists and meet the world where we find it, not where we wish it were. Compassion does the difficult work in the middle, once all the noisy campaigning is done, to help companies and governments implement the policies they were coerced into. They don't brag much about it, and most of their technical work flies under the radar because of the closeness of their relationships. For that reason, I'm happy to be a monthly donor.
Compassion in World Farming is my go-to group for solid, researched, credible information for environmental activists and animal welfare advocates. They don't use hystrionics or false information to get the public's attention. Their information empowers people like me to make responsible choices about environmental and animal welfare issues. My church recently restructured our Earth Care group and I will be presenting some of this wonderful information that Compassion in World Farming sends out via their newsletters and website. I believe people of faith can play a huge role in doing the work to help Mother Nature and very grateful to have discovered Compassion in World Farming.
CIWF is an outstanding organization supported by a group of dedicated individuals who strive to improve the lives of millions of animals by improving farming standards. They are responsible advocates for cows, pigs, chickens, and other animals caught in the vicious cycle of factory farming.
Love what Compassion in World Farming represents and how it challenges what has become standard practice in the industry; in spite of what is ethical or sustainable. The donor updates are a great way to stay connected on how CIWF continues its mission to impact change. What a great organization!

I have frequently donated to Compassion in World Farming. It is a truly amazing farm animal welfare and environmental charity which aims to end the Factory Farming of all animals. Cruelty and torture is endured by every animal which is factory farmed. It is a nightmare for the animals whose only relese is being slaughtered. Their vision is a world where farm animals are treated with compassion and respect. There is no reason for Farm animals to suffer.
