The 2 summer interns made poster presentations on the study results at the nih conference in washington, dc and the american college of veterinary internal medicine forum in seattle. Fund phase i of a 2 phase age (advanced glycation end)research project. The project will test the effects of ages(advanced glycation end) in pet food processing. Dietary intake of ages has been related to health concerns in human studies of aging, diabetes, kidney disease, arthritis, alzheimer's, etc. And may explain how diet can impact health and disease in dogs.
