My children (one adult and one teen) are interested in volunteering at this organization but they choose not to respond to us. I understand they are volunteer run but if they don't respond to potential volunteers how are they successful?

A great small no kill shelter. They do nmot over commit, and they care about the animals in thier care. A great place to donate money or items.
