Mission: ENRICH THE LIVES OF LOW INCOME SENIOR CITIZENS WHO RESIDE IN SUBSIDIZED HOUSING (APARTMENTS). VOLUNTEERS DELIVER FREE HOT MEALS ON EASTER, THANKSGIVING & CHRISTMAS. WE PROVIDE OUTINGS FOR VALENTINE, ST PATRICK'S, 4TH OF JULY, HALLOWEEN, NATURE TRIPS WE ALSO DELIVER GROCERIES, HOUSEHOLD PRODUCTS AND PERSONAL CARE PRODUCTS ONCE ANNUALLY.
This is an awesome charity. This organization relies solely on the people to donate, it does not take anything from the government. I have been involved with this charity for the last 15 years, it gives food on the holidays, summer outings and also outings at the individual senior complexes. They are always looking for people to help deliver meals or help make them for Christmas Thanksgiving or Easter. I also personally donate my time every Tuesday during the summer for the retreat that they take the seniors on at the Blue Lotus Retreat.
