Causes: Health
Mission: The purpose is to improve the safety of patients and health care facilities within the southwestern indiana/kentucky area. This will be accomplished through cooperation, collaboration and communication of all participating member health care facilities as well as promoting best practice standards of care whenever possible, which standards are communicated to the health care community and general public.
Programs: The coalition is organized and operated exclusively to further, benefit, perform and carry out the charitable, educational, and other exempt purposes of the following organizations, each identified in articl 11 of the articles of incorporation:deaconess health system, evansville, inst. Vincent, evansville, inmethodist hospital, henderson, kygood samaritan hospital, vincennes, ingibson hospital, princeton, inmemorial hospital & health care center, jasper, inperry county memorial hospital, tell city, indaviess community hospital, washington, in
the coalition's goal is to make southwestern indiana and the tri-state area the safest tri-state area in the united states for healthcare. The coalition provides a forum for area hospitals and their respective chief executive, medial, nursing, and pharmacy officers to share information about "best practices and work together to solve critical patient safety issues in a non-punitive setting, and to make those best practices and solutions available to all healthcare providers.
