As the Program Manager for a faith-based, community-based, health research/outreach project, Community Ministry has played a significant and valued role in the ongoing success of our work. They have played a critical role in engaging faith- and community-partners, promoting the work that we do to the community-at-large, fully participating as project team members, and functioning side-by-side with other team members throughout all phases, aspects, and activities of the project.

We work with Community Ministry in our community-engaged research/outreach projects. They have been a highly valuable, stable and true partner in these efforts with my teams for roughly four years. Community Ministry plays a key role in engaging our faith community partners in health promotion projects. Without this support, these projects would not be possible. Community Ministry staff play a pivotal role in these health projects through fieldwork, recruitment, data collection, health promotion, and serving as a key community liaison. I cannot say enough about how valuable this partnership is for our team's health promotion work in Prince George's County.
