Mission: The community mental health center for mid-eastern iowa is dedicated to improving lives through high quality, accessible mental health services and to promoting awareness of mental health issues in the community.
Programs: Psychiatry - psychiatric and arnp services treat patients who have mental disorders that are, at least in part, treatable with medications because of the underlying organic nature of the person's condition. Services include diagnostic assessment and the prescribing and monitoring of medication. The organization served over 1,600 patients with these services in the past year.
integrated health home - helps patients cordinate behavioral and physical healthcare services between their primary care provider, hospitals, and specialists.
counseling and psychotherapy - a staff of 17 clinicians provide individual and group therapy to persons in order to limit and/or reverse the course of mental health problems with a goal of renewed capacity to function more effectively in work, relationship, and family life. The organization served approximately 1,150 patients with these services in the past year.
