Community Lifeline is truly dedicated to its mission of guiding individuals and families back to self-sufficiently. I am proud to be a part of this organization.
As a new volunteer, I am still learning about the Community Lifeline Center. The staff and other volunteers whom I have met are dedicated. The philosophy and mission of this program are inspiring. Every effort is made to satisfy needs of those who qualify while the dignity of individuals is upheld.
Community Lifeline has been a lifeline to many families in Collin County. I have had the pleasure of meeting with Christine on several occasions and have witnessed first hand the kind of help and hope that they provide. They take the time and put in the effort to make a difference for every family that comes to them in their time of need. I love that I live in a community that cares about all of its people.
I have been blessed to volunteer at CLC for about two years. Although I don't have much client interaction, I have met and visited with many of the volunteers and the director and have seen them in action. They treat everyone with kindness and respect and truly care for each individual they come in contact with. I especially appreciate that they not only assist in a crisis but work to help individuals move towards self-sufficiency. McKinney is blessed to have an organization like CLC!
I am the pastor of missions at FUMC-McKinney. At FUMC, we are so excited about the important work being done by Community Lifeline that we have stepped up our financial giving to them. Our goal is to partner with wonderful organizations like Community Lifeline so that we can break the cycle of poverty and help those in need in our community truly have a better life. Keep up the good work, Community Lifeline!
It is my great priviledge to serve on the Board for Community Lifeline Center. Christine and her team of volunteers work amazing wonders to help many people who find themselves in need. Not only do they help clients with rent, utility bills, food or more. They also provide resources and classes to help clients better themselves.
I have been blessed to work with Community Lifeline on different community projects for the past two years and have witnessed first-hand the kindness, caring, and benevolence of the organization, its outstanding Executive Director, and volunteers. Community Lifeline is truly a Christian ministereal outreach with the goal of assisting and empowering our neighbors.
It was asked recently to serve on the Board of Directors and I am truly blessed to have the opportunity to work closely with this outstanding organization and its leadership.
This agency provides much needed services in our community. They recently added educational classes for their clients, which will not only help families short term but in the future. Classes in parenting education, nutrition education and financial literacy will assist clients in many ways. Even though this agency has been in the community for several years, it had fallen off the radar with churches, agencies and organizations as well as the general public. The current director, who has been in that position for less than 3 years, has been busy networking within the community, building partnerships and collaborations. The turnaround has been outstanding and the agency is well on its way.
Community Lifeline Center is a God-send to many of our community's citizens that have been hit with unforeseen tragic circumstances.
This organization has been in existence for as many years as I have been a member of the McKinney community, but their new leadership and focus on giving a hand up instead of a handout has far exceeded the results of past years.
CLC provides emergency assistance for our citizens with no other alternatives. Rent, help with utility bills, financial and job-focused training and much more. CLC is also working on working together with other community entities to consolidate resources to provide a bigger "bang for the buck."
