CLA is a non for profit organization that provides free or low cost holistic civil legal services including immigration services to their community. There has never been a greater need for these services given today’s current environment. Luckily you could not ask for more than the two founders. They along with the staff are empathetic, passionate, extremely highly skilled and most importantly, they get results. I admire both their passion and work ethic focusing on helping out our community. It is truly an honor and privilege to work with them. Recommend! Recommend! Recommend!

CLA took the time to meet with me and answered all my questions. My mother was recently diagnosed with dementia and we had no idea where to start. Everything was explained in Spanish so that my mom can feel comfortable and understand everything that was discussed. Everything from health care proxy, power of attorney and will. I’d highly recommend CLA.

My mother was diagnosed with cancer and as a result we needed to get her affairs in order.

They discussed the paperwork that would necessary, prepared the documents and reviewed everything with us.

They truly made a difficult time in our life more manageable. Thankful for their professionalism and sensitivity to our situation.

Community Legal Advocates of NY have generously provided free services to our Adult Education Students. They have also hosted well attended and informative workshops on immigration issues and have stayed behind to answer all the questions the students posed. They also provided services to my senior clients, including power of attorney, health care proxies, immigration issues, etc. They are prompt, timely patient and friendly. They follow up calls and assure excellent services. In addition, they have visited the seniors who have not been able to go to their offices. I highly recommend this organization.

CLA is a great organization to work with. They really take the time to explain everything to you so that you fully understand your options. I'm working with them to setup a will, poa, and health care proxy. The process has been smooth and they genuinely want to help. I'd highly recommend CLA.

I have had the great benefit of receiving CLA's excellent services and seeing first hand their community involvement to bring people together to support proper practices for immigration and language access. As the sponsor of a youth, who for 14 years lived in peril and is now an American citizen, I can not speak highly enough about the support and guidance that he, I, and his family received from CLA.

I'm a retired attorney who volunteered with CLA because of the great respect I had for Ann and Keiko, two of the primary principals in the organization. My admiration for them has only grown with the opportunity to work closely with them. Professional, caring, and even a lot of fun to be around. Great people and excellent lawyers.
