Mission: The mission of community healthcare foundation is to improve the health care of the community by funding technology advances and equipment to enhance and increase access to medical services at (non-profit) st. Clare memorial hospital and the (non-profit) st. Clare primary care clinics throughout oconto county. The foundation is comprised of a volunteer board of directors who raises funds with events, community support, and monetary donations for technological advances and capital equipment and healthcare education scholarships to enhance and increase access of medical services at st. Clare memorial hospital and the st. Clare primary care clinics throughout oconto county. The community healthcare foundation and the local community members who volunteer their time as its board of directors are dedicated to improving and sustaining health care services in the greater oconto county community.
Programs: Community healthcare foundation provides opportunities for the community to support its mission to improve the health care of the community by funding technology advances and equipment to enhance and increase access to medical services at st. Clare memorial hospital and the st. Clare primary care clinics throughout oconto county. The foundation also funds healthcare education scholarships. Community fundraising includes annual events, community support and monetary donations. The community healthcare foundation hosted two fundraising events in foiscal year 2014: the community healthcare foundation hosted its annual spring fling wine, beer, and cheese tasting april 2014. Funds raised through admission, raffles, auctions, and cash donations paid for the event expenses of commemorative glasses, hors d'ouerves, music, flowers, postage, printing, and publicity costs. The event cleared $3,394 with proceeds going to the general fund to improve healthcare in our community, the spring fling event included celebrating ordinary heroes awards which recognized people nominated from throughout oconto county for their outstanding service to their communities. Additionally, the event provided an opportunity to increase the awareness of the foundation's mission and objectives. The community healthcare foundation held its annual charity golf outing june 2014. Funds generated from sponsorships, registration fees, raffles, auctions, and cash donations at this event covered event expenses of greens fees, food, beverages, gratuity, prizes, printing, supplies, and publicity costs. The event cleared $8,803 and the proceeds went to general fund to improve the healthcare in the community. During fy 2014, community healthcare foundation provided funding in the amount of $750 in healthcare education scholarships to five local high school students ($150 each) in gillett, lena, and oconto and $300 in oconto falls. This is a summation of the events and community projects that the community healthcare foundation in oconto falls has initiated and accomplished in the fiscal year 2014. The community healthcare foundation dissolved on august 25, 2014.
