Mission: Community coordinated child care, inc. (4-c) assists parents and child care providers in obtaining and providing high quality child care. 4-c also provides financial assistance to child care providers to encourage them to serve nutritious meals to children in their care.

Programs: The child and adult care food program is funded as part of the national school lunch act. The united states department of agriculture (usda) provides funding to help children in school and child care receive nutritious food. County certified or state licensed family child care providers caring for at least one child are eligible to enroll in 4-c's food program. Once enrolled in the 4-c food program, child care providers feed children in their care using usda nutrition guidelines and submit monthly records of food served. A 4-c nutrition specialist visits with each enrolled provider at least three times per year.

the 4-c training and quality improvement department is dedicated to offering high quality trainings and career growth to early care and education professionals at all stages of their professional development. 4-c's youngstar program assists early childhood professionals with their quality improvement efforts.

4-c's resource and referral department maintains a database of all regulated child care programs within our eight county service delivery area. Referral specialists assist parents with their search for early care and education for their children. Information from our database provides parents with a current list of regulated child care professionals that allows parents to locate care to meet their specific needs.
