Great to watch someone reach out to those in need and give back to the community.God is truly working through this place
I first came in contact with this agency in 2018 through a Biblical Parenting class the Director was teaching at Lovelady. Since then my daughter has joined the mentoring group I am in the Parents Helping Parents, I have taken Financial Literacy My daughter has taken the Inspire class. We also received assistance with food clothes utilities household items as well as school supplies and we're a part of their Christmas Program. All while allowing me and my daughter both to volunteer on a regular basis. These are only some of the many wonderful things this agency has to offer. They are truly a blessing.

This is a great organization! So many have been helped by CCDN, in many different ways. Thank you CCDN FAMILY. They feed and clothed many people. Work with children in a lot of ways, helping younger children with behavior situations, older ones prepare for college and adults prepare for better jobs, among many other things that they do. This is good ground to sow into. We thank God for CCDN.
Community Care Development Network is an organization that walks the walk and talks the talk. The organization works day in and day out to organize and implement programs and resources that serve and build their community. Since its conception, CCDN has served hundreds and arguably thousands of residents of the greater Birmingham area and they don't anticipate on slowing down anytime soon. Fantastic work done by phenomenal people!
Community Care Development Network (CCDN) is an organization that truly cares about community and the individuals within. Without the services that they provides, such as emergency food boxes, hygiene items, clothes, job prep, career development, mentoring, and so much more, many individuals would not have the support they need and appreciate to reach the goals that they have set for themselves. CCDN is an absolute blessing and a true pillar of the Birmingham Community.
I was referred by a friend whose kids were being mentored at CCDN. I now volunteer at CCDN because I saw the wonderful work they were doing and enrolled by kids. I am not one to quickly put my kids with people I do not know. BUT I can say that observing how they worked with the kids and the changes I saw in my kids was phenomenal. They were not only concerned with them, but me as well. I wholeheartedly support what they are about!

I was referred by a friend who volunteers for CCDN because I am disabled with a large household. Everybody was not working. Ms. Tamika was the most kindest and understanding person you would meet. I was so grateful. She actually asked what needs I had and tried to get every resource available. I am most grateful for the food. It was getting so bad some meals were just noodles. Thank you CCDN. CCDN is fast becoming a beacon of light in the Eastlake community. The caring and compassion extended to those in need has been a fulfilling experience. Whether it is providing referrals for resources, providing food or clothing, mentoring young minds to reach their full potential, CCDN is a network love.
I was introduced to CCDN, when It was Precious Pearls of Promise. My daughter had gotten in trouble at the school was attending at the time. The counselor at the school Ms.Cowan, had meant Ms. Holmes & gave me her info & told me she could help with the issues my daughter & I were having at the time. Precious Pearls Of Promise, was very instrumental in getting myself & my daughter to a better place than where we were. Our kids need a outlet that they can go to when they feel like their parents just don't understand. Even though my daughter is of age now, I have still stayed on as a CCDN board member. We started up a Parents Helping Parents roundtable. We have to reach our parents as well as our kids. This helps us to bond together as parents to help make sure our kids have the best future ever. The old saying still rings supreme, it takes a village to rise our kids. I believe in CCDN & I believe in Ms. Holmes and what she brings to the process, that is to better our kids, our neighborhoods and to groom our young people into future leaders of tomorrow & years to come.
A friend of mine told me about CCDN mentoring program. My teenage son needed direction and help so I tried the program. In the beginning, I fought every Saturday for him to come. Now he looks forward to going and has settled down tremendously. He found an affinity amidst the people and leaders of CCDN. Now he has a mentor he can help direct him in a better direction. During the process, my young daughter is gleaning from what she hears. It gives her a better chance at making good decisions. I am tremendously grateful for CCDN.
Growing up in Birmingham was tough for me. I survived, but now have an opportunity to give back. There are a lot of kids and families in challenging positions. Community Care Development Network is a way for community leaders and partners to help the community that is hurting. I love the people that I work with, the clients we serve, and the partners we have developed along the way. It is a blessing!
