Programs: Canter oh took in 7 horses in 2017 from the racetracks in ohio that were either injured or no longer competitive. The organization placed 4 horses in new homes after their rehabilitation and retraining. Canter oh also sent 2 horses to michigan state university for surgery and placed over 100 horses through the free listing service on our website.

CANTER-OH is doing great work by helping racing Thoroughbreds find new homes and careers after the track. They network, do direct adoptions, list horses for track trainers and educate. I adopted my OTTB from them in 2008 and have been a fan ever since.
