Since joining Common Vision in December 2021, I've sadly encountered significant challenges stemming from the behavior of our Executive Director, Wanda Stewart. The emotional, verbal, and psychological abuse I've endured during this time has been incredibly difficult to navigate. Despite my efforts to address these issues with the board, it's been disheartening to see minimal progress in resolving these concerns.
In light of these ongoing challenges, I've taken steps to file a formal complaint with the California Civil Rights Department, Alameda County, and other relevant authorities. My primary goal in doing so is to prevent others from experiencing similar treatment. I am committed to providing updates as this situation progresses.
It's disappointing that my vocal expressions of concern haven't prompted the board to take decisive action. I hope that by sharing my experiences openly and online, will finally catalyze the necessary changes within the organization.
