Causes: Chambers of Commerce & Business Leagues
Mission: To promote uniformity of legislation on matters affecting commercial law; elevate the standards and improve the practice of commercial law; and encourage the highest standards of conduct amoung its members and in the profession at-large.
Programs: Membership and marketing - promotion of legal, educational, and professional excellence in commercial law, creditor's rights, bankruptcy, and insolvency in support of nearly 1,500 members.

meetings and education - hosted and supported several conferences and meetings throughout the year, including the chicago spring meeting (the clla national convention), the new york fall meeting, the national conference of bankruptcy judges, and several regional and sectional conferences and meetings. Attendance at these events ranged from approximately 50 to 500.
government relations - monitored legislation and regulation and provided targeted lobbying efforts related to commercial law, creditor's rights, bankruptcy, and insolvency on behalf of members.
