My experience with Come As You Are Chilled has been nothing short of excellent and fulfilling. I've felt tremendous joy over the years in helping the homeless population of Charlottesville and helping in the organization of events that help children have a fun summer. All in all, the work done by the nonprofit for the community is very satisfying.
My experience with Come As You Are CVille has been nothing short of stellar. The nonprofit has been serving the Charlottesville area since 2018 by helping the homeless get noticed, but also receive the kind of help that they deserve. Aside from serving the homeless in the area, Come As You Are has also helped the youth with mentoring opportunities and a summer camp program that elevated the spirits of young people. Helping others who are less fortunate is the duty of all humankind and Come As You Are is that channel that has facilitated doing so with the heart of the giver.
Here is an organization out in the city, working relentlessly to help the needy and homeless. When two families with children, including a mobility disabled child and an elder, were faced with eviction, COME AS YOU ARE CVILLE swiftly moved to action. In just over 5 days, this non profit raised $5,000 dollars and kept these families in their homes. But their motto is to always go above and beyond. From clothing drives to field days to children’s mentorship to prison phone hope ministry to emergency food fulfillment with door stop delivery to Friday breaking bread lunches to bring together community to women’s trauma advocate services, I cannot speak highly enough of this organization. Their latest project to bring the community together in support of over 300 needy children for their Christmas Drive so that these children can celebrate the joy of unwrapping a brand new gift like their peers for Christmas shows what pure heart and commitment to uplifting and empowering the needy and less fortunate COME AS YOU ARE CVILLE has. This is one of this city’s most dedicated non profits and they deserve nothing less than one of the highest awards and recognition for their work
