CCMC is known for providing excellence service to the community and with the support of our Healthcare Foundation, we are seeing increased job opportunities for this area and the ability to offer the public a place to receive many more services that have never been offered here before.

So incredibly grateful for all the hard work the Comanche County Healthcare Foundation pours into our hospital. With their help, it has enabled the surgery department to purchase state of the art equipment such as a Steris Endoscope reprocessor and an anesthesia machine. Each department throughout our hospital has been impacted by their generosity and hard work. CCMC Foundation is one of the best! They have provided state of the art equipment to departments throughout the hospital allowing us to provide the best care possible to our community.

Comanche County Healthcare Foundation (CCHF) focuses on fundraising to assist with purchases to enable better patient care in Comanche County Medical Center's facilities. In the past five years, CCHF has purchased a 3D mammography device, anesthesia machine, ultrasound equipment, bladder scanner, glide scope, retina camera, and in 2022, donated a $100,000 towards the construction of a new long-term care facility. Since the inception of CCHF in 2005, the non-profit has raised over $1.1 million to assist in these efforts. In addition, CCHC provided punch and cookies during National Healthcare Week in May to show appreciation to all of Comanche County Medical Center's employees in each of the center's four locations. Everything about this non-profit is providing a positive influence to healthcare in Comanche County, Texas.

The Comanche County Healthcare Foundation is an amazing entity in our rural area. With no corporate donations in the history of the foundation, the public support is vital and has stepped up to the plate. Our clinic and hospital serve a wide range of small towns and both are top-of-the-line facilities, with dedicated and talented staff. We ourselves have been part of many local fund-raising activities and count ourselves fortunate to have such excellent healthcare facilities and personnel nearby.

This is a great group of people who donate their time and efforts to improve the services of our local hospital. Through their efforts they have assisted in making our hospital the best in our area!

We live in De Leon, a small town in rural Texas. We are blessed to have a state-of-the-art healthcare facility 8 miles away serving Comanche County. A huge reason it is state-of-the-art is the Comanche County Healthcare Foundation has raised I believe 1 Million dollars in funds to purchase equipment to serve us. Comanche County Hospital and Clinic (CCMC) is without a doubt one of the best rural hospitals anywhere. The leadership beginning with the CEO Dr. Larry Troxell, the very special doctors and the entire staff are truly exceptional in the manner of which they provide service. I am speaking for me and my wife because we have both been to the ER and to see our Dr. Todd Davis many times over the years. We, the people of Comanche County and surrounding counties are very fortunate to have CCMC.

As an employee of a rural health care organization, I am so proud of the patients that we are able to help here at home. Through some of the donations from Comanche County Healthcare Foundation we are able to utilize some of the same technology as our larger competitors. We are so thankful for their assistance!

The Comanche County Healthcare Foundation is a great resource for our rural hospital system. CCHF has not only provided countless benefits to the patients of our local hospital and clinic, but also to the generous patrons of our community who are looking for ways to leverage their limited giving to a greater degree on the quality of patient care in our area. Donors recognize the value of their gifts multiply through the collaborative efforts of other local donors, achieving greater results by working together through the foundation. Funding a 3-D mammography unit is a great example of a multi-year, focused effort to secure the necessary funds that positioned our facility at the leading edge of diagnostics for the women of our area. The funding of such equipment was beyond the capacity of our community without the collaborative efforts of the foundation coordinating the collection of many small gifts until we had met our goal. The foundation kept the focus in the public eye and did not allow the passage of time to interfere with achieving our goal. To date, well over $1 million has been raised largely from local donors and wisely invested in the quality of healthcare for our small rural community.

A wonderful group! They have raised monies for the local hospital for several years, successfully raising thousands of dollars for much needed equipment. One of the recent fundraisers contributed towards the purchase of a RetinaVue scanner. The local hospital and clinic will now be able to help identify those patients that are having difficulty with retina damage secondary to diabetes. How wonderful is that? Helping to save the vision in hundreds of patients! Could not be prouder of our local hospital and the amazing Comanche County Healthcare Foundation!

I am so impressed at the professionalism of CCHF, they truly care for their patients, they are hard workers and their main motivation is helping their fellow beings by raising funds that will help a great cause and the whole community in general.
