Programs: Local history museum:museum had over 35,000 visitors during 2014. Visitors were engaged in a variety of exhibits and programs throught the year. Major exhibits included the following. - columbus at play: the history of music and sports in columbus - history of the columbus law enforcement - power of the portrait - featuring portraits displayed from chs collection - 50 years of cosi, celebrating the 50th birthday of cosi - voices raised, lives changed 25th anniversary of the columbus gay men's chorus
historic bus tours:during 2014, chs conducted twelve private tours and nine public tours. Tours consisted of a sightseeing bus ride through historic sites in the columbus area, accompanied by an informative guide.
archiving:archiving division completed museum assessment program, a self-review sponsored by the american alliance of meuseums. Review of archiving policies and procedures. Significant donations for 2014 included portraits and photos of historical significance for columbus.
