Colorstry is an organization that combines creativity with community service, which really resonated with me as someone who loves art. There’s a variety of different events that Colorstry hosts such as mural paintings, workshops, and volunteer opportunities, which makes Colorstry so special and fun. I joined over a year ago, and ever since, I’ve always felt excited to participate in Colorstry activities and I hope others can join us as we spread our impact!

This nonprofit is incredible: they help beautify and connect other NPOS through murals, help put on art workshops and galleries, and overall serve and tie the community together with the celebration of art. Their work is extremely beautiful and I’m still in shock that it’s completely student-led. They’ve helped numerous shelters, centers, other npo has, and so much more. This nonprofit is truly exceptional and well organized, it’s been a immense pleasure working with them and getting the experience their kindhearted acts of service

I cofounded Colorstry with Allison Su in the Fall of 2022. Since then, this organization has been a meaningful source of purpose and community, an idea rooted in empowerment, and a journey with lasting impact. Personally, Colorstry has given me the opportunity to connect with the needs of my community, craft creative solutions, and collaborate with sponsors and student leaders. Whether it be in the skills taught through the art workshops or the women empowerment murals painted at shelters, Colorstry has left a tangible mark on Orange County. I am certain that under new leadership and an expanding volunteer base, Colorstry will continue to touch more lives!

They’re so active in their community and find a variety of ways to apply art to the benefit of communities. Board members are also incredibly active and highly organized! As a board member, working with Colorstry has shown me how organized and friendly they are, so I’ve never felt overwhelmed or alone. I always have someone to go to for questions, and they always treat me with kindness. Despite only being active for a few years, Colorstry has been productive and have made many notable marks on communities they’ve worked with.

Colorstry is a wonderfully inclusive organization! I enjoy participating in club events -- especially murals -- because not only do they turn out fantabulous but they have important and empowering meanings behind them. I’m honored to be apart of something that is purely focused on giving back to our world.

Amazing all around! I had the best experience being apart of colorstry, they give it their all and are very well organized. Apart from that they do an outstanding job at volunteering for their community and always do an amazing job. The people I met while volunteering are very nice and welcoming. Overall I had a good experience with them.

Colorstry is a multitude of things: Experiences gained, hours served, artistic outlets used and new friendships created are integral parts of Colorstry and its mission "to use the arts to serve our community by providing resources to create, hosting events that empower individual creativity, and creating installations that inspire." I have served as a board member of Colorstry for four years, starting off as CFO and building up Colorstry along with Aditi Jain and Allison Su, the Co-Founders, in addition to the rest of our board, until I took over the role of CEO. Therefore, I can say with confidence that as Colorstry grew as an organization, I grew as a person alongside it. At Colorstry, we have created a community of sponsors, partners, and volunteers that endlessly put in great effort to create a better environment for all. Colorstry has contributed to the improvement in many lives and I thank everyone who has contributed to the improvement of Colorstry.
