Mission: The mission of the colorado wildlife heritage foundation is to provide a legacy for colorado through support of environmental stewardship, conservation of wildlife, and protection of critical habitat.
Programs: The colorado wildlife heritage foundation (cwhf) manages a mitigation fund, conservation easement properties, and other programs to support wildlife protection and habitat restoration. Cwhf also administers the colorado schoolyard habitat program providing students across colorado a means to engage in outdoor hands-on learning experiences and to improve wildlife habitat, thereby positively impacting the environment. Cwhf also administers the colorado waterfowl stamp program in support of the north american waterfowl management plan, which helps to protect critical habitat for colorado's waterfowl.
