Mission: The mission of the colorado vincentian volunteers (cvv) is to invite young adults (ages 21-30) into a process of companionship with those who are poor in the spirit of st. Vincent de paul. There are four components to the program; direct service and advocacy, shared community life, spirituality, and reflection and discussion on social justice in the vincentian tradition.

Clinic, lutheran family services, senior support services, mount st. Vincents, urban peak shelter and ged, the gathering place, annunciation school, sewall child development center, health set, the growhaus, st. Martin plaza, st. The work that volunteers perform includes: teaching children with special needs; supporting struggling homeless men and women; serving low-income seniors; providing health care for those who are uninsured; helping homeless and runaway youth develop a plan for their lives; responding to families with emergency need for food and clothing; working with children in low-income schools; training men and women, including refugees in need of job skills; providing resources for people with developmental delays; assisting spanish-speaking families with resources; and developing program activities for those who live in special housing complexes. Together the volunteers formally reflect on their experience through weekly discussions which help them to process their experiences and address the prevailing issues of those they serve.
