This association allowed our top 17's, 16's, and 15's to compete against other top clubs from across the nation while bringing exposure to our players in national events that ny2la ran. This exposure allows our players to play in front of many college coaches. Our remaining teams started at the same time in april playing around the denver area. Our teams participated in 6 tournaments through the months of april and may. During the month of june we ran skill development sessions with all of our teams and our u11's and 13's teams played in an additional two tournaments. The 27 current titans coaches emphasize individual skill development, teach team fundamentals and require all players to give 100% effort defensively. We expect our teams to compete at the highest level, and the coaches to distribute playing time with that goal in mind. The colorado titans commit to developing players through hard work, practice and inspired coaching. Since 2016 we have now had 34 commitments to play at the college level which is the highest it has ever been in a three year span for the colorado titans organization in 2017 for the first time we added a team from northern colorado/greeley area. This team practiced in greeley and played in the power to play league up there as well. This team was coached by armando garcia sr. And we hope to continue building up north as a branch of the titans organization.
