As a donor, I was very impressed with the CEDA organization & its staff for their prompt response, creativity, transparency, effectiveness focusing on the most vulnerable women in society. Every dollar donated was spent on beneficiaries with no administrative expenses with volunteers doing much of the work. I’ve seen firsthand testimonials of beneficiaries describing how their lives were impacted for the better in a short time period with help from CEDA. I’m highly confident CEDA will continue its commitment, dedication, perseverance and creativity to help the most vulnerable members of the community & highly encourage everyone to support the Colorado Enterprise Development for Africa.

I heard about you organization, i would like to express my gratitude for you as are helping trying to help the needy. I would like to tell you that I am always by your side whenever you need any support .
I like the organization supporting the women who are victms of war by providing microloans at real time.
This is organization is volunteer organization established to serve war victims of women. In my experience it is very new innovation that intends to motivate individuals to intern in to the business area and improve their life in a better way.
This organization is established for women who are highly victmed by war inorder to have their own small business and economically and financially strong women. It also provide psycological short training to forget bad memories of war. So let us help.
The time I know about this very interesting and timely non-profit organisation - CEDA - I was so fascinated to be engaged for the very reason that its focus is on the disadvantaged group of society particularly women and other impoverished groups. Its grassroot nature and focus on the poor and perhaps economically sidelined by a masculine society makes it among the very few action-oriented NPOs. I do not wait to take part in this initiative.
The organization is currently supporting for the needy women who are displaced by the current Tigray war against Prosperity party in Ethiopia.
Good job. Your organization is doing great.Such financial help will bring a substantial change in the life of our community in general and the poor war survivor women in particular.
As i.have heared your organization doing its best to boost the income of poor women in tigray ethiopia
Creating job opportunities requires significant effort, planning, and dedication. It involves understanding the needs of the economy, investing in skill development, and fostering an environment that encourages innovation and growth. Entrepreneurs and organizations must take risks, adapt to changing markets, and ensure sustainability. The great effort put into creating jobs not only boosts the economy but also empowers individuals, providing them with financial stability and a sense of purpose. It is a vital step towards building resilient communities and driving long-term prosperity. Therefore, I appreciate your great effort that you create job opportunity for the people of Tigray.
I was involved in the discussion of the concept and the creation of the Colorado Enterprise Development for African. It is led by highly experienced dedicated staff who are determined to alleviate the adject poverty in Tigai, reason why they have provided 2.5 million Birr microloans to 50 war-victim low-income women entrepreneurs in and around Axum. In less than a year, the program has enabled these women not only to support themselves but also 200, others including family members, economically. This may seem nothing, but it is an encouraging start. Considering that this was made possible by the financial generosity of ten concerned people, I can imagine what can be accomplished by, say, 1,000 donors.
As a starter, I pledge to contribute $1,000 to this worthy cause and invite others to do the same. Given the current situation in Tigray, no contribution is small. What is small, in my opinion, is not to contribute at all!

I know this blessed enterprise since start actively working in activities related to economic development among the low income war victim women in Tigray.
I would like to express my heartfelt appreciation for Colorado Enterprise Development for Africa (CEDA).
Your commitment to fostering support, entrepreneurship and economic growth is truly commendable. By empowering local businesses, providing essential resources, and promoting sustainable practices, CEDA plays a pivotal role in transforming communities and driving innovation. Your efforts not only create jobs and improving their life standards but also inspire a new generation of leaders and changemakers.
Thank you for your dedication to making a positive impact in Tigray and with no doubt this enterprise will be a model across the continent Africa!
I know this enterprise working in activities related to poverty alleviation and supporting vulnerable part of society, especially women in Ethiopia.
I know ithis non profit has started to support poor women in the historic town of Akxum through small scale enterprenal support. I know that some of them have become self sufficient
I have observed this nonprofit since its inception, and I have donated. Among its many strengths, I can cite the following as its key attributes.
Practical: This nonprofit’s practicality emanates from the immediate positive impact it has already brought about on people’s lives. Within a span of months, I have witnessed real change in people's lives and saw them being grateful to the nonprofit.
Dependable: This nonprofit has established trust through the inclusion of various local leaders in the community (city administration, religious and traditional leaders, intellectuals etc) who serve as moral guarantors of its activities.
Humane: This nonprofit prioritizes the neediest especially women, many of whom have lost spouses or adult children in a devastating recent war and often also have young children to support.
Forward looking: This nonprofit discourages any form of long-term dependency of the recipients by making sure that funds are put to good use and recycled through a communal trust based, simplified but effective monitoring system.
Please support it. Zeray Alemseged
I observed this organization grow from humble beginnings serving the underserved in one of the most unnoticed parts of the world that has witnessed probably the most brutal of wars in recent memory. It has empowered women who were reduced to nothing to become self-reliant all with almost no overhead costs involved. I started as a volunteer sharing ideas for change but, as a journalist, I am planning to help tell the stories of women who have become self-sufficient as a result of CEDA's intervention.
The moment I happen to now about CEDA I promised myself to support it considering the multifaceted challenges the society is experiences as a result of the devastating war which has come to halt two years back.
To me, as nonprofit making organization, CEDA is unique because:
1. Its creation is timely as millions of people, deprived of their socio economic base (means of income, and basic infrastructures (including health centers, schools, industries, etc.) as a result of intensive war they faced for two years;
2. It is beyond giving fish to the needy and instead it teach the beneficiaries on how to catch fish on their own . By doing so paves the way in fostering culture of entrepreneurship at grass root level of the society;
3. It plays a role in strengthening self-reliance on societal level;
4. It contributes in setting yard stick and click paradigm shift of aid business approach, which has been lagging far beyond its goal, despite the huge finance allocated year to year world over ;
5. At last, but not least the committed and visionary leadership of CEDA, and the transparency it is striving put in place from the outset in its entire works.
These are the points which forced me to support CEDA with my capacity that I can afford.

CEDA is a remarkable nonprofit organization making a profound impact in a war-torn region of Ethiopia by providing microloans to families affected by the conflict. It’s especially inspiring to see the 50 women who are being empowered to transform their lives through CEDA’s peer-to-peer lending program. The organization offers much more than financial support; from the intake process to technical assistance, CEDA truly acts as a one-stop shop for changing lives at the grassroots level. Their dedication to helping these women rebuild their livelihoods is both commendable and transformative. Keep up the incredible work, CEDA!
