Mission: Our organization is the premier provider of informational science, technology, engineering and mathematices (stem) education in southern colorado. See schedule o for continuation.
Programs: On-site missions: our primary on-site missions are delivered through our subsidiary, the challenger learning center of colorado (clcc). These missions utilize a 2m space simulator to encourage students to pursue stem career fields as they apply the lessons they have learned in their classroom to related real-life, time-critical problems in a stressful but exciting environment. distance-delivered missions: many students live too far from our facility or lack funds and thus never have the chance to experience supplementary stem education. Distance-delivered missions are one way we strive to reach as many of these students as possible, through the internet, where we fly missions similar to our on-site simulations run by a challenger flight director directly to distant classrooms.
public education, outreach, and support for other complementary stem programs: we also focus on reaching learners of all ages and from all walks of life. See schedule o for continuation.
