Mission: The mission of the colorado coalition for the homeless is to work collaboratively toward the prevention of homelessness and the creation of lasting solutions for homeless and at-risk families, children, and individuals throughout colorado. The coalition advocates for and provides a continuum of permanent and transitional housing, health care, and a variety of support services. The coalition's comprehensive approach addresses the causes of homelessness, as well as the consequences, offering critical assistance to over 15,000 individuals and families each year. Additional services are provided by the following entities that are included in the group return: rpmc: renaissance property management corporation (rpmc) provides property management services to 17 low-income residential properties with a combined total of more than 1,600 residential units. Rpmc's integrated housing approach combines supportive housing for individuals and families experiencing homelessness with affordable housing
Programs: Housing services: the coalition provides a wide range of critical housing services including shelter placement, 24 months of service-enriched transitional and permanent supportive housing, children's programs, and welfare-to-work programs. The coalition has also adopted an approach called "housing first" which is designed to help chronically homeless individuals move immediately off the streets or out of the shelter system. The approach includes crisis intervention, rapid access to housing, follow-up case management and therapeutic support services to prevent the recurrence of homelessness. See schedule o for additional housing services.
