Programs: Mission programs are to serve those in need in the buena vista, colorado community. Achievements during 2017 include:(1) served approximately 4,951 meals for the year. (2) meals served to needy persons 3 times a week, which averaged 412 meals monthly. (3) groceries were given to needy families to supplement weekly food needs. (4) average number of households served in 2017: 295 per month; (5) number of people in households: 577; (6) age groups and numbers served: ages 0-17; 108; ages 18-59; 244; ages 60 +; 197. (7) holiday meal donations furnished food and supplies to needy families for the easter, thanksgiving, and christmas seasons. (8) firewood was provided to families for heating during winter months. (9) several bible studies were conducted. (10) 480 square feet was added to the building facility to better serve those in need.
