This non profit does so much for women and children. They do a great job at counseling and helping with practical needs. Whoever goes in here or calls will immediately feel loved and welcomed.
I love the way CAPS treats those coming in for their services. Many babies have been saved.
The counselors are wonderful and caring.
I think one of the things I admire most about CAPS is their commitment to help young women regardless of background, belief, or stage in life. They truly desire to come alongside the women they serve. They also care about what happens to the young women after they leave. They really walk the talk, so to speak.
I love CAPS and the amazing love and compassion they have for women! Such an honor to volunteer with them!
CAPS is an amazing organization, helping and empowering women from all walks of life. Each woman that comes into one of their offices is met with unconditional compassion and support. A great deal of time, effort and training is put into providing the best service possible for whatever situation a woman may find herself in. I am so grateful for the opportunity to be a part of such an incredible group of volunteers.
During the almost fourteen years I volunteered at CAPS as a Counselor I witnessed firsthand the impact this place has in every client that comes in. Women from all ages come burdened with fear, confusion and uncertainty. Volunteers and staff at CAPS are able to provide a safe, non-judgemental place for these women where they find not only help and resources, but also a caring and personal environment. A comment I most usually heard after a counseling appointment was "This place is so nice, I felt comfortable and welcomed here."
CAPS will be forever in my heart, and love to tell others about it.
As a weekly volunteer at CAPS, I get to see first hand the care and concern extended to clients who find their way to our center. Counselors, staff, and medical personnel are at once professional and compassionate to each woman seeking our services. Their are also counselors available for the men who's lives are impacted by the unplanned pregnancy of wife or girlfriend, also administered with genuine concern. CAPS is positively assisting women of San Diego, whether their need is counseling, resource referral or simply stability and kindness during uncertain circumstance.
I know first hand several women who have been helped by CAPS's service to pregnant women. Now years later these gals have grown into precious women who have appreciated CAPS in their time of need and their children are healthy happy children. As a board member/volunteer for CAPS since it's beginning I am proud of the work CAPS has done in our community and proud of their vision to expand and grow into other areas of our community hoping to reach out to others who need our service.
CAPs is a wonderful nonprofit. I have seen first hand how the free services the organization offers have benefited families in the community. Many of the patients that come to CAPS have no health care insurance and wouldn't be able to receive free vitamins, ultrasound, referrals, or health care education. It provides a professional health service to the San Diego community.
I know several volunteers who serve at CAPS on a weekly basis. These women are fully trained and they are spiritually equipped to help assist those who come through the doors concerning unplanned pregnancies. I have only heard of good experiences for all who seek their services and they feel valued and well cared for. It is wonderful that they have four locations in San Diego County. I do contribute financially because I believe in the work that they do for the unborn and their parents.
