Causes: Arts & Culture, Cultural & Ethnic Awareness
Mission: Collectives 4 Arts Music & Dance's (C4AMD) mission is to promote folk music, dance, and oral traditions and cultivate an appreciation for Dominican and Latino culture. C4AMD promotes and sustains activities representing the community’s unique values and a variety of artistic and cultural expression, that activate the body and challenges the mind.
Target demographics: Youth across New York City
Direct beneficiaries per year: Each year, Collectives 4 Arts Music & Dance impacts thousands of people - mostly youth in underserved and marginalized communities - in New York State through cultural workshops, dance classes, and performances
Programs: Cultural Programs, Arts-in-Education curriculums, folk & traditions workshops, and activities.
