The Cody Dieruf foundation helps children and adults with cystic fibrosis. My niece was born with CF and this foundation has been able to help with medication costs and research. They even partner with organizations like the Montana Ballet Company to get kids with CF scholarships to start ballet because physical health is very important if you have CF. They offer counseling to parents who have a child with CF because the parents may outlive their child. They sponsor fund raising events and an annual Mother's Retreat. They just do so many great things! I support them 100%.

Mission: The cody dieruf benefit foundation's primary purpose is to raise awareness of the genetic disease cystic fibrosis and offer local emotional and financial support to persons afflicted by cystic fibrosis. The foundation also wants to be able to raise substantial funds so that if a person afflicted with the disease qualifies for a double lung transplant funds will be available to help cover this cost.
Programs: Medical expense - including insurance copays, and deductibles are paid to vender, unless the client has already paid and has receipt, and medical travel expenses are paid to client upon receipt of travel,up to and including hotels and gas and food
recreation & fitness - it is known that physical exercise and activity benefits those with cf. Physical activity slows the rate of decline in lungs function, helps to clear mucus, and creates reserve for the body to rely on. Our fitness program options include a variety of activities and several recreation opportunities offered by cdbf. Each activity is specifically chosen by our client to fit their own personal needs to help them with body strength (under direction of physician). These options have given our cf friends a sense of ownership and self-confidence.
