I've volunteered and fundraised for the farm. Farming is a way of life, and is a culture that Lincoln works hard to maintain, even in the ever changing times that the town passes through. I appreciate having a town protected farm in the heart of our town to remind us of a culture that ties us to the land on which we live. Nothing does a better job of forcing me to slow down by day and think positively then getting stuck behind a hay wagon. Not much makes me happier then towing a full hay wagon down Bedford Rd, and having luxury vehicles slow down to pass safely, and give a friendly wave as they go by!
