This academy is certified through colorado state university. This course teaches the participant to recognize and combat animal abuse as it applies to horses. The class is 50% classroom lectures and 50% hands-on activities with horses, allowing students to actually practice the skill learned in the classroom. Upon completion of the course, the participant can demonstrate a level of competency both physically with the animal as well as with investigative skills. They are able to respond to equine abuse calls, thoroughly investigate and develop the case, and put it together for successful prosecution. This is a unique in-residence intensive training program that boasts outstanding faculty. Ev disaster services - preparedness training nd relief services disaster preparedness training comes in many forms and is normally tailored to the group requesting the training. Sessions range from two hours to two days depending on the needs of the participants. The information received will help the participant mentally and physically prepare themselves,their families, their friends, and their co- workers for any possible disasters that may happen. The class creates an awareness of potential situations, related dangers, and ways to prepare for those situations.
